Maria, When entering a NS support case I still get an error that says... Quote: Invalid contact reference key 752817 for company 752816.

We are getting the "Time Out" errors like CRAZY. I tried to file a case online, but got an error when saving the case. My case said... Please provide detailed steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Edit an "info item" in netsuite 2. *note: The info item has an iframe that has a link to a NS form 3. click save after editing…

I figured it out. The https://forms.netsuite.com/app/site/... URL that was put into the iFrame (in the info item description field) was causing the problem. I replaced it with a http://www.ourdomain/app/site/... version of the URL and the problem went away. T

Is there maybe a number or comma or some other small thing in a price column other than the first one? Checked. Thanks, but wasn't the problem. If you are using Quantity Pricing and Price levels, make sure to enter a price across all quantity pricing in each level. Checked. Thanks, but wasn't the problem. -Tom

Evan, I notice that the checkout URLs are now all https://checkout.netsuite.com/s.nl/.... and not our domain (since v2007.1). Is that planned or did a preference get reset with the update? -Tom

Unfortunately I deleted the items that wouldn't work (in this case) and started over. My past experience (with this particular bug) has shown me that NS support will spend hours on the phone with me only to say "we will have an engineer work on it" ....then it falls into a endless black hole. I needed the items to work…

For this issue or for the past times that this has happened to us? -Tom

I found another one that tops the redundancy described in this first post in this thread!! Maybe someone can tell me if this also happens in their NS account. The requirements to find this NS MISTAKE are very specific. Going to this record using other paths will not lead to the same bug. Go to a customer record. The…

No problem YongYi. Thats what beta testers do. I'll assume that they entered the 2nd one as well? Tom

HRWG, You also misread my post. Your response does not apply. I never said ANYTHING about canceling or closing an order. If you don't use matrix item options, then you may not know what window I am talking about. -Tom PS: NetSuite, I would like to know your response.

Of topic, but... What CAN we put into the "Value" column that is in the "Mass Update Fields" tab when defining a general mass update for items? I want to make one field = another using mass update. So, I want to copy the contents of "Display Name" into "Store Title". What do i put into the "Value" column next to "Store…

Enhancement #131536 says "Status = Open - Targeted at a Release". What does that mean? Is it part of v2009.1? -Tom
-
Yes. We use multiple vendors and we would like to update our webstore prices by doing a mass update that uses... Criteria: Item is drop shipped = yes Item is set to display online = yes Mass update applied to field = "online price" Set to Value = "preferred vendor price" * 1.5 -Tom
-
I guess I could do an item export and import, but I am afraid of those. The data doesn't map right on the import. In other words, the exported file has to be doctored and columns rearranged and renamed to fit the requirements for an import file (unless they have changed it). There was a previous enhancement to make an item…
-
Does this also mean that using "Lists > Mass Update > Update Prices" we can not set it to... "online price" = "preferred vendor price" * 1.5 ...is that also not possible at this time? I could see how to do it with variables of "entered price" ...but no way if you use multiple vendors and want to use your preferred vendor's…
-
I'm not terribly afraid of that export/import method anymore, but I do still want a feature where I could do a mass update with a formula... like... "online price" = "preferred vendor price" * 1.5 It would be faster than the export/import method and could be done by a less experienced NS user plus I could save it so I can…

Never mind. Looks like they made a duplication error. It was entered as BOTH an enhancement AND an Issue. Issue 132657 Type = Defect Severity = S2 - Urgent and also... Enhancement 132825

AGAIN NS puts in a BUG FIX as an enhancement. I get a NS ERROR MESSAGE on the screen when trying to work with a list of items that is set to display the column for meta-tags ...an yet it is considered an enhancement and not an issue. So, I guess people have to vote for a "enhancement" or the NS error message won't go away.…

Both 'Sales Units' and 'Minimum Quantity' fields are set on this item. There seems to be a bug when both are set. Until it is fixed, try blanking out the latter, update your matrix, and I think your quantity/price grid will be fixed. Worked like a charm. Thanks, Barry
-
Yes. The parent and the children are all entered the same and none of them have a "25+" unit pricing. The highest quantity pricing discount (for all items) is at 20. T

I put in a case via email. I tried to call about it, but hung up after an hour. I don't have the time or incentive to hold for hours unless I am getting help with an issue that is caused by my lack of knowledge. When it is obviously NS's bug...I'm not going to waste a good portion of my day building the NS product…
-
Bill, Thanks for voting for this "enhancement". Do you think this should be an issue and not an enhancement? It is a broken feature and it is producing the wrong results for NS users, so in my book ...it's an issue. T
-
Looks like they closed issue 130815 because it had a similar enhancement that already existed. So, this is in as an enhancement and not an issue. I find it odd when they enter a fix of an obviously broken feature as an enhancement and not an issue. This one is now Enhancement 124461. I guess that means that people have to…

NS, says a possible work around is to adjust price on the PO and adjust quantity to what it should be. In the sample in the first post, we would adjust the quantity to 6 and the price to $1 each. I haven't tested, but their suggestion could be an inventory nightmare. With the current BUG, we don't know what the "one unit"…
-
We are strongly considering allowing a preference here in an upcoming release. We know for a fact that some drop shippers want to use Sales units when drop shipping, which is why we did it the way we did and why it would have to be a preference. Evan, We want drop-ship POs to use PURCHASE UNITS. Isn't that what a purchase…
-
Presumably the drop shipper wants to see the units the customer ordered in because that's what they need to fulfill. Why would that be assumed even after we picked a different type of UNIT for our "ordering units"? That assumption isn't true for us. We sell a 12-pack and our drop-ship vendor that fulfills the orders wants…

NS, any ETA on this fix? This is causing frequent mistakes from our vendors!!

Enhancement 109819 Be able to specify what locations get auto-calculated inventory or exclude a location from auto-calculations for any particular item.
