Have had this happen to us a number of times. Very easy to do. Definitely would appreciate this added functionality!

This happens too often. Either an option to stop the drag and drop or a Pop-up warning message as a minimum.

Number of ideas open with votes, really need these merged as it is clearly a very much needed solution. Accidental drag and drop with subsequent permissions changes needs to be managed but no option in system to control as of now.
Here are some identical ideas from just a quick search, all with couple of votes but they all add up to highlight the necessity. How could we get these merged to bring the requirement forward?
