OTBI in general only gives you the current row data unless it is based on Events like Assignment Event Real Time Subject Area. So this either has to be a Event type Subject Area or best is to have a Dedicated Table created and then individuals can build a BI report as per there needs and that is if a seeded report is not…

I know that for some big customers they do arrange a Read Only SQL utility (something which requires security authentication and GoldenGate setups....). Also, most probably Oracle Support team members has access to query directly.

Please check attached document.

There is an alternative if we build a Report from Analysis, then one can password protect PDF and EXCEL o/p. Kind Regards Ashish

Well one can always use the auto-generated template in that case and make changes. I mean , I can understand that one option could be that all columns of a data model is selected and then the report owner (developer / creator) can remove the ones not required, but sometimes the number of columns are so large that…

Not sure if this report (below) meets the requirement completely but maybe would give some insights. Yes you may choose the language as SQL and try to paste the code in Textpad and Notepad++ and you should be good.

Wow. Do you have a worked out example you can share. Kind Regards Ashish

I tried running this and I could not find the Pivot Option.
-
Seems you have passed on the XML Data. I am looking for the XML Analysis (on Advanced Tab) On Advanced Tab under XML you would find corresponding XML version of the query which gets generated as a result of the OTBI Report created. Copy that same (save it in text file and send)

Please post your XML
