There was an update to JET in 6.0. We will investigate if there is a tweak you will need on the javascript side.
-
This sounds useful! We will look at UX options here.
-
Also there is a preview API for reloading data after an ETL process via API. https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/paas/analytics-cloud/acapi/op-20210901-catalog-datasets-datasetid-actions-reload-post.html

This looks like the idea is in the wrong section. This looks like a request for Fusion/BICC to add a column to a PVO. These are not controlled by Oracle Analytics Cloud or Server.
-
I think this issue is for Fusion ERP and not Oracle Analytics Cloud? Is that correct.
-
You can use a Dashboard filter on the canvas to achieve this in another way. It is one of the properties of the filter item.
-
The goal is to use an analysis as a source for a dataset? Basically a reference to the logic sql?
-
Sharing is being worked on. In the meantime, you can use Content Management to help with situations like a departed user. https://blogs.oracle.com/analytics/post/managing-content-in-oracle-analytics

If the value is a measure, have you tried using a tool tip to see if this gives you the sorting you need? While you may still want to hide it, it might help.
-
We will take a look at this. We should provide a solution to this.
-
Numeric fields can be either a measure or an attribute/dimension. You can add a calculation in DV to create a measure from an attribute.

The documentation is here: https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/paas/analytics-cloud/acabi/manage-content.html#GUID-96E84E17-E137-45DD-8110-F674B218E671 It was released in the March OAC update meaning it should be in the next release of OAS.…

Marcelo -- this is about API security . We should have another idea for "allow snapshot scheduling in the UI" as you described above! Please create one as this got wrapped in the API point. For all APIs going forward, we will use OAuth. You will have to get proper credentials to use APIs. Here are two blog posts that might…

We have some lineage in the new semantic modeler. We are looking in to options here. The API suggestion might be an option. Would "per object" be sufficient initially as in the original concept in the idea or would admins rather see something like the console Content Management UI we have for ownership assignment?
-
Can you provide an example of what you would hope to see? The RPD/Semantic model might be very complex. It is not clear what you want the user to understand -- physical tables? calculations? joins?
-
Due to the constraints in how the current OAC Data Modeler manages the RPD -- we won't allow you to use both the Client Admin tool and the Data Modeler as you could make changes which could corrupt the Data Modeler. However, we are introducing the new web based Semantic Modeler which will allow you to use all of the RPD…

There is a high-level roadmap here https://www.oracle.com/business-analytics/cloud-and-server-roadmap.html It does not have the detail of each feature, although we do update status on items as they progress in the backlog.
-
Thank you for the ping @Marcelo Finkielsztein. The first iteration will mirror datasets and not workbooks. Vote here https://community.oracle.com/customerconnect/discussion/548851/allow-users-to-organize-data-sets-into-folders-sub-folders for datasets (and soon data flows).
-
Thanks for the comment. Wonder why this is not getting more votes if it is a common ask! Anyway, taking a look at what we can do and still have existing features like brushing and Keep Selected work correctly.
-
We have this in our backlog and it is planned. No specific update or timeline available yet.
