Really need this feature
-
This is actually possible for BI reports by setting a property. Please check https://fusionhcmknowledgebase.com/2019/03/prevent-merging-columns-in-excel-output/
-
This is a very much needed feature.

Looks like there was an option to download all rows till R8 and due to performance or some other issue they limited us to 200 rows only... Please refer https://cloudcustomerconnect.oracle.com/posts/574ae67c18 for more info on this. On downloading the rows into excel also, there was an answer that we can download the xml…

Can you update the idea with this info too, so that it gains more traction and there is no need to create one more idea for this.
-
Also it would be better if there is an option to view all rows.. and download all rows instead of creating a template and running the report to get the o/p

Yes. password protect Excel feature has been made available since 19C. However we can set a static password only as of now. Dynamic password isn't feasible at this point of time. Please refer the below article for detailed steps on how to achieve it.…

Hi Helen, There is also an option that you can do at report level which when set to true will not merge columns in the excel output. you can use it in future, if there is a need. So, after this setting, even your new modified template will not return merged columns. Thanks, Sricharan

Hi Rashmi, I don't think there is a possibility to attach images + get html o/p in email using bursting... You can get html attachment or html o/p in body.. Thanks, Sricharan
-
Hi Visu, We do not have access to the BI Publisher underlying tables to get this data.. Raise an SR and post it in the idea lab. Thanks, Sricharan
-
For those who don't have access to support, here is the fix for this issue.

Hi Lee, Password protected excel is still not possible in the latest release.. Not sure if it is being worked upon by the development team. Thanks, Sricharan
-
As I said this is not an issue with POD.. please find the solution below from Oracle Support on Chrome browser issue Fusion BI - BI Publisher OTBI - BI Report PDF Output Downloaded With HTML File Extension Rather Than PDF File Extension (Doc ID 2326149.1) CAUSE The issue is with the Google Chrome web-browser PDF settings.…

I think it is not an application issue. It should be with some setting in your laptop/desktop. Can you try this.. Click on the settings icon above the print option and click on export to pdf.. let me know if it works. Thanks, Sricharan
-
Hi Gaurav, Change the Default o/p format in the report properties to PDF.. Thanks, Sricharan
-
Hi Rashmi, You can use the Direct Database SQL option in the analytics to get the BI Query o/p in analytics. Check https://biapplications.wordpress.com/tag/direct-database-query/ Thanks, Sricharan
-
Hi Naveen, We do not have control on those options for SaaS customers. We will have to wait for response on SR. Keep us posted on the updates. Thanks, Sricharan
-
Hi Naveen, As far as I know we don't have the flexibility to control the options in the export hyperlink. We can hide/unhide that option but we cannot control the o/p types. Please raise an SR and update here with your findings. Thanks, Sricharan

On the backups front, Oracle maintains a backup at some frequency on production pods only.. so we can request them to restore it with the latest backup found.. I once have faced such issue and Oracle Support team have restored it from the latest found backup. Thanks, Sricharan

Try to see if the same folder is available in any other instance.. like dev, test or prod.. if present and all objects are same, archive and copy to the concerned instance. Else raise an SR and work with Oracle Support team and they will get the latest backed up version available and copy it. Thanks, Sricharan
