Coverage amount calculation FF giving rounding issue at the end
Summary:
For basic life insurance plan coverages we have custom FF to calculate the coverage amount. The logic is as follow.
Formula type : Coverage amount calculation.
If employee is < 65
- salary*2
- Round up the next thousand
- Apply 20,000 cap.
If Employee is >=65 and 70 same logic as above, in the end after applying cap, reduce the coverage 65% .
Despite the correct logic, the end results are giving rounding issue.
when expected result is 51500, it is showing 52000 in the front end. Though we did not add any logic in the end of the FF. Please advise if there is any change required in the logic. Evaluted the life event from batch process, in logs we see the correct value
