Problem saving elections because another enrollment exists in the same element error

Summary:

We are gearing up for 2027 open enrollment and are trying to finalize setup so we can begin testing in the Redwood interface. We seem to be having trouble getting the employee self-service page working – specifically in the Enroll in benefits that matter to you section. When the employee goes to Me —> Benefits, the Enroll Now button is available for them to choose.

When employee navigates to the Enroll in Benefits That Matter to You section of self-service, they receive the error message ("There was a problem saving the selection because another enrollment exists in the same element that this enrollment uses").
