Hi @Varonis inc., Did you have a chance to look into this? Let me know if you are still having issues with the workflow. Thanks.

Hi @User_NG5TG, Did you have a chance to look into this? Thanks.

Hi @User_FQX0W, You have two options: Re-open the closed period to make the change. The leading practice is to do this process first in Sandbox, re-run the Month-End Close, and compare the financial statements "before and after the change" to identify the net impact. There can be a financial impact on closed periods, so…
-
Hi @Karanjot Singh, Yes - you can do that. One option is to create a Transaction Saved Search for Item Fulfilment record and set the Emailing to go out to "Created From -> Created By" (i.e., Sales Order Creator):

Hi @Vasya_3, Did you check the "Run Server SuiteScript and Trigger Workflows" during the CSV import? When you update custom fields (e.g., Text) that don't trigger Scripts or Workflows, the status of the Bill Payment shouldn't change. Can you check the System Information for the Bill Payment to confirm that only custom…
-
Hi @Vasya_3, The best option is to use the Advanced Cost Amortization feature. Natively - you have to enter the Cost Amount on the RA manually. Once done - the costs will amortize with the revenue and will be hosted on the Revenue Plan: You would also have a Deferred Cost Journal entry posted from the RA: You can build a…
-
Hi @ksage, Access to that field isn't available through a Saved Search. One way to get that information is to create a script that would run the Saved Search in the background regularly, download the XML, and take a snapshot of required data points in a custom record.
-
Hi @User_K4DIS, There are a few ways to get the Subtotal amount in a Saved Search. For example, if you go to Actions -> GL Impact, you will see that it is only the Subtotal amount that is impacting the Revenue/Income: Please try this Saved Search and let me know if you have any issues:
-
Hi @ImeldaSanchez, Thanks for the responses. Setting the "Store Value" to "False" may resolve the issue, as it will start showing the "live" value. I need more clarification regarding #3. Let's say the custom field value on the item record is: "Order Date + 15 Days". You create a new Quote, and the custom field value on…
-
Hi @User_DSAIY, Yes - you can create custom filters: You can also choose the required criteria (e.g., Project or a Resource) using one of the default filters: The RACG doesn't currently allow selecting Project Codes - only Project Names. NetSuite is continuously enhancing it, and there is a chance the feature will be…
-
Hi @Paul Salkeld, I didn't see that error message before and used the "Timeline" portlet on various customer instances. Your NetSuite instance may have something specific that requires an ad-hoc review of the Timeline feature compatibility. Please contact NetSuite Customer Support and ask to enable the feature for your…

Thanks for confirming, @User_E15G4, Yes - the screenshots would have been helpful. I have several other questions: Do you see the "Landed Cost Template" field populated on the Item Receipt line? Do you have the "Landed Cost Per Line" checked on the Item Receipt?
-
Hi @User_E15G4, Can you confirm that you set up the Landed Cost Template for all required Items? Also, did you specify which template to use for each item in your PO / Procure-to-Pay process?
-
Hi @Buckeye1497, You can check the DnD script execution logs right after adding a file to Drag and Drop. The logs often provide valuable insights into the underlying issue.
-
Hi @Luis G, You can create a Workflow to generate an Error Message and disallow Item Fulfillment if, say, a custom "Sales Order is Verified" checkbox isn't checked on the Sales Order.
-
@ImeldaSanchez, I have a few questions: Do you have the "Store Value" set to "True" or "False" on the Transaction Line Field? When you change the custom field value on the Item record, does it correctly update on the main/first line of the Quote every week? When you copy the line on the Quote, what value appears in the…
-
Hi @User_8RJ16, The leading practice for your use case is to create a Sales Order from a Quote with a Drop-ship Item. Once the Sales Order is approved, it will create a Drop-ship PO. You can generate the Fulfillment from the PO and then create the Customer Invoice from the Sales Order.
-
Hi @Arian Barnett, Do you have the "Revenue Plan Update Frequency" set to "Automatic" in the Accounting Preferences: If not, did you run the "Update Revenue Plans" process to create the Revenue Plans? With the "Direct Revenue Posting" checked, the recognized revenue won't appear in the Deferred Revenue Waterfall Summary…
-
Hi @User_IJB6M, Yes - you can do that:
-
Hi @User_32GQL, Do you have approval routing for Bill Payments? The issue might be caused by a related Workflow/Script.
-
Hi @kees.netsuiteadmin, NetSuite doesn't have a native way of restricting Customers, as the Customer record is typically the first selection made on the Transaction record, such as a Sales Order or Opportunity. The workaround is to create a Workflow or a Script to generate an Error Message if the selected customer doesn't…
-
Hi @User_5BYJA, Could you expand on what specifically the issue is? Would you like the Sales Order status to change to "Fully Billed" based on the amount?
-
Hi @Nilesh Gupta, I would like to expand on your earlier comment: If any changes/update occurs in service item like Pay Rate, Bill Rate etc, then "a new service item is created in netsuite" and the name will be followed with effective date Example - Oracle_3242_Eff.03/27/23 Could you confirm that you create a new item…
-
Yes, @User_4TK33 - the #3 will also work with the Project on the Sales Order header. With this configuration, once you add a Project to the Sales Order header, the lines will auto-populate with the related Items and Charge Types selected (e.g., Milestone). There might be a specific use case for the "Create Projects from…
-
Hi @User_4TK33, Yes - my comments apply to Charge-based Projects. In fact, I don't recommend using any other Project Billing Types except "Charge-based". The correct workflow on a high level would be: Create Sales Order Create a Project with appropriate Rules and setup Add the Project to the Sales Order line and select the…
-
That's great news! I was about to suggest to check that and a few other items.
-
Hi @user10786369, Yes - you can do that via standard Employee CSV import. If an employee has multiple roles, you must add the same employee to multiple rows in the import file and map to the relevant roles.
-
I found a SuiteAnswer article with the details on how to do that. Let me know if anything is unclear or doesn't work, and we will work through it. You would need a CSV import to report on the historical Sales Orders. I know that you need the Tax Code and Rate in the first place and wouldn't want to check the Sales Orders…
-
Thanks for confirming, @Silva Timber, Although fields such as Shipping Carrier or Shipping Cost are accessible to the Saved Search, it appears that NetSuite specifically restricted the Shipping Tax Code and Shipping Tax Rate from Saved Searches. To overcome this limitation, you can create two custom body fields for the…
-
To confirm, when you view a Sales Order and click on the "Shipping" tab, do you see a Shipping Tax Code populated there?
