Taxable Benefits Element Issue for Employer Group Life Contributions

Summary:

Taxable Benefits Element Issue for Employer Group Life Contributions

Content (required):

Hi All,

At one of our clients, employees can have multiple assignments at an employer. All the assignments are considered when it comes to plan eligibility. Eligibility is not based on just the Primary Assignment.

All the benefits elements have been configured at the payroll relationship level, bar one which is the employer portion for a group life contribution. This is a Taxable Benefits element and cannot be configured at payroll relationship level. It can only be configured at assignment level in payroll.

We are seeing that the GL employer element is being linked to one of the assignments (which may or may not be primary, not sure how the assignment is being picked by system).

Howdy, Stranger!
