Subtracting Employee Contribution from Imputed Income / Documentation Clarification
Summary:
In short summary; IRS regulations on Group-Term Life subject to Imputed Income may allow for the subtraction of employee premiums paid from the final Imputed Income amount. Most recent Oracle Documentation for 22B (and all recent releases that I recall) state that the imputed income calculation does not do this. However, I came across a MyOracleSupport note that says there is a Administrator Profile Option that can be created to enable this, BEN_IMPTD_INCM_POST_TAX.
- Has anyone tried using this profile option and what were the results?
- If Oracle colleague reviews; are you able to provide any clarification on this functionality?
