Scheduled Process for Performance Goals - Purge Goal Temporary Records

Summary:

Scheduled Process for Performance Goals: Purge Goal Temporary Records

Temporary transient data definition

Content (required):

Hi All,

For the Scheduled Process for Performance Goals: Purge Goal Temporary Records process, Oracle has defaulted this value to 15 days for purging temporary transient data. Oracle reasons that data stored from Mass Assign Goals, Assign Goal Plans, and Assign Goal Plan Sets can slow down application performance and purging should occur based on the frequency of these process runs.

Does anyone know what Oracle's definition of "temporary transient data" generated by these processes would be?
