Custom 'Add/Change Beneficiary' Life event allows change in coverage in Redwood UI

Summary:

Requirement:
As per the delivered functionality, employees can change the Beneficiaries using the self service link Me > Benefits > Change Beneficiary but can not
add new Beneficiary.

We are trying to create a new life event, so that employees can add a life event from self service and add new beneficiaries as well.
This life event will not allow employees to change the election but just allow to add or change beneficiaries.

Problem Statement:
We are able to create a life event and it is not allowing employee to change the plan or options.
But, when we click on Edit for a enrolled Voluntary insurance plan, it opens up a new page where beneficiaries can be designated but the system is allowing
