Product DCL field issue in Asset Object

Summary:

I am facing an issue in Asset object. When I select a new value in the Product DCL field, the old value automatically appears again in the Asset edit layout. Also, the Search Product option is not working and Product DCL field is standard field .

Has anyone faced this issue before? Please suggest a solution.
