The recommended approach is restoring a known healthy backup of the whole installation and make sure you have enough disk space to run the installation for the version update.

Re: Same bank Account in Multiple Sites
Hi,
You can have only one record for the External Bank Account in the System. if you want to use the same Bank Account for other Supplier/Sites, you need first assign the Supplier as Owner and then "Add" the Bank Account (not "Create" as bank account already exists)
check the data in below tables for your supplier/bank account
iby_external_payees_all
iby_ext_bank_accounts
iby_account_owners
iby_pmt_instr_uses_all

We ran into a timeout issue several years ago. Somewhere there was a setting to only allow a user x amount of time before they were kicked out when they tried to bring the cart back in. I wonder if that same setting is at play here.
We were able to get agreement that the time out would be 20 minutes. Which can still be less than desirable sometimes, but it was better than the 5 minutes it was set at.
I don't recall if it's like an app server or web server thing - where it was actually set.
