Removing partners
Folks,
Not sure if this is a bug or a feature, but here goes:
In version 10.6, I globally made all of my dealers into partners. I wanted to remove the "partner" designation, but in V11 you cannot just delete the partner portion.
I was told that I should inactivate the partner record, but when I do that the customer record also is inactivated. Because of this, I'm very leery about activating the partner side and then deleting that record. I cannot afford to lose that customer information.
Is this expected behavior for partner records?
Thanks in advance,
Rick Chamberlain
