NSC | SuiteFlow (Workflow Manager) Reference: Initiate Workflow Mass Update

edited Apr 25, 2023 8:10PM in SuiteCloud / Customization

This Mass Update operation initiates a workflow on records that don't have an active instance of that workflow yet.

Note: Records that already have an active instance of the workflow used for the mass update will be excluded. If the workflow reaches the Exit State during the update, the mass update can be performed again on the same records because the instance will not be kept active since the workflow completes on every run.

Sample Use Case:

Update the Terms of Sales Order Records from Net 15 to Net 30.

Note: The Terms field is not available in General Mass Update hence Workflow Mass Update is used instead.
