It’s that time of the year again! As we embrace the holiday cheer, we want to share an important announcement regarding our holiday schedule. Our dedicated team of NetSuite Support Gurus will be taking a short break to recharge during the holidays, from December 24, 2024, to January 1, 2025. We’ll be back in full swing, ready to assist you on January 2nd. During the break, feel free to explore the wealth of NetSuite resources on our platform.
As we celebrate the season's joys, we are incredibly grateful for your ongoing support and engagement. Have a fantastic holiday break, and let's gear up for an incredible 2025!
Here are some examples to get your creative juices flowing.
"Did I pay vendor John Doe last month?"
"Take me to my largest sales order for this month."
"What invoices haven't been paid yet?"
New to NetSuite | Items 105: Gift Certificates
Gift certificates play a vital role in businesses for several reasons. They attract new customers, boost sales, and improve cash flow. These certificates serve as effective marketing tools, exposing your business to a wider audience while offering customers a convenient gifting option. By incorporating gift certificates, businesses can enhance customer engagement and loyalty.
In NetSuite, we have the Gift Certificates feature. This NetSuite functionality enables customers to buy store credit that can be sent as a gift to others. The recipient can utilize the gift certificate code when making a purchase on your online store or during a transaction with a sales representative. NetSuite provides flexibility in generating these codes; you can either manually create them or opt for an automatically generated random hash code by the system. It's important to note that gift certificate authentication codes remain inactive until the corresponding order used to acquire the gift certificate is invoiced, and you can also configure accounting preferences accordingly.
