New to NetSuite | Securing Domains Using Manual Certificates
Establishing a trustworthy online environment is crucial for e-commerce, and a key element in achieving this is the implementation of SSL certificates. These certificates form the basis of trust by creating a secure connection. Browsers further enhance this assurance by displaying distinctive visual indicators, such as a green padlock or a branded URL bar, to signal to visitors that their connection is secure.
To ensure the security of your domain through manual certificate installation, follow these steps:
1. Navigate to Commerce > Hosting > Domains.
2. Locate the domain for which you wish to add a certificate and click on the "Edit" option.
3. In the Certificate section of the domain form, choose "Upload Certificate" and proceed to upload the certificate files provided by the Certificate Authority (CA). Alternatively, you can employ the drag-and-drop feature to place the certificate files in the designated area on the form.
