Hi @User_32GQL, Do you have approval routing for Bill Payments? The issue might be caused by a related Workflow/Script.
-
Hi @kees.netsuiteadmin, NetSuite doesn't have a native way of restricting Customers, as the Customer record is typically the first selection made on the Transaction record, such as a Sales Order or Opportunity. The workaround is to create a Workflow or a Script to generate an Error Message if the selected customer doesn't…
-
Hi @User_5BYJA, Could you expand on what specifically the issue is? Would you like the Sales Order status to change to "Fully Billed" based on the amount?
-
Hi @Nilesh Gupta, I would like to expand on your earlier comment: If any changes/update occurs in service item like Pay Rate, Bill Rate etc, then "a new service item is created in netsuite" and the name will be followed with effective date Example - Oracle_3242_Eff.03/27/23 Could you confirm that you create a new item…

Yes, @User_4TK33 - the #3 will also work with the Project on the Sales Order header. With this configuration, once you add a Project to the Sales Order header, the lines will auto-populate with the related Items and Charge Types selected (e.g., Milestone). There might be a specific use case for the "Create Projects from…
-
Hi @User_4TK33, Yes - my comments apply to Charge-based Projects. In fact, I don't recommend using any other Project Billing Types except "Charge-based". The correct workflow on a high level would be: Create Sales Order Create a Project with appropriate Rules and setup Add the Project to the Sales Order line and select the…

That's great news! I was about to suggest to check that and a few other items.
-
Hi @user10786369, Yes - you can do that via standard Employee CSV import. If an employee has multiple roles, you must add the same employee to multiple rows in the import file and map to the relevant roles.
-
I found a SuiteAnswer article with the details on how to do that. Let me know if anything is unclear or doesn't work, and we will work through it. You would need a CSV import to report on the historical Sales Orders. I know that you need the Tax Code and Rate in the first place and wouldn't want to check the Sales Orders…
-
Thanks for confirming, @Silva Timber, Although fields such as Shipping Carrier or Shipping Cost are accessible to the Saved Search, it appears that NetSuite specifically restricted the Shipping Tax Code and Shipping Tax Rate from Saved Searches. To overcome this limitation, you can create two custom body fields for the…
-
To confirm, when you view a Sales Order and click on the "Shipping" tab, do you see a Shipping Tax Code populated there?
-
Thanks for the additional information. Most probably, it is due to your company's Office 365 configuration. Based on your responses, it appears that everything is set up correctly from NetSuite's perspective. Perhaps you can open a support case with Microsoft - they should be able to find the issue with the Office 365…

The Email Best Practices article on SuiteAnswers has everything you need. When you updated the DNS record, did you follow the steps mentioned in Naming, Choosing, and Sharing DKIM Selectors? If, after setting up the DKIM, you still see "sent-via.netsuite.com", it's a sign it is not set up correctly.
-
Hi @Silva Timber, Do you populate that information on the Sales Order Header under the "Shipping" tab? If yes, you can get that information with a "Main Line" = "True" Transaction Saved Search: If you use line-level shipping, you would need to run the report as "Main Line" = "False".
-
Hi @Gab JS, You would need to set up Domain Keys (DKIM) under Setup -> Email Preferences to let your server recognize NetSuite emails as "authorized":
-
Hi @User_NG5TG, Yes, you can do that via Transaction Search. Here is a reference for the first three columns:
-
Hi @User_HPB3I, Yes - you can do that. Here is a reference Saved Search:

Thanks for clarifying, @User_Y64EF. Changes to employee rates shouldn't impact the historic Estimate or Invoice records. The changes will be reflected on newly created Estimates and Invoices.
-
What about Sales Orders - do you create them from the Estimate? Typically, the Sales Order is the primary sales transaction with all final amounts. The Estimate isn't always considered the final transactional record.
-
Thanks for checking, @User_CNLH5, What if you add one custom column at a time and see when the "drill-down" breaks? That will help to narrow down the cause. The other alternative would be to open a support case to see if this is a known defect or if there are similar cases and perhaps a proposed solution.
-
Hi @User_Y64EF, Do you create a Sales Order from an Estimate before starting the actual work?
-
Hi @User_V5KBL, You can have a Sales Order with a few Service and Non-inventory Item lines linked to a Project. The same Sales Order can have drop-ship Inventory Item lines that can be billed back to a Customer with mark-up. Because all items are on the same Sales Order, you can associate them with the related Project.
-
Hi @Alderik, Yes - these changes may happen because of a modified feature/preference. In all of these cases, the permission was added and not modified. Can you build a Saved Search for System Note (Record Type = Enable Features, Company Preferences, etc.) to see if any changes were made on "4/15/2023 3:46 am" or "5/23/2023…
-
Hi @Nilesh Gupta, Did you replace the "Display Name" with the "Name" field in the Saved Search results tab? If yes, what are the results?
-
Hi @User_D4XL9, Some fixes are released only to accounts that are assigned to the Defect. Please ask your BR customers to open an S1 support case so it can be attached to the defect ASAP. Thanks.
-
Hi @Chandanesh, Did you try the Saved Search I recommended on July 31st? Thanks.
-
Hi @User_CNLH5, Did you have a chance to try the suggestions I made in my August 8 reply? Thanks.
-
@AnCaMc Thanks for the update and the configuration you have is correct. @Michelle Jabanes-Oracle checked internally and confirmed it is a defect (#731636). NetSuite is working to fix it.
-
I see what you mean, @Pallavi1903, Natively, you can't do that on the Sales Order / Invoice. If you need that for reporting, you can achieve that through a custom field that sources Project Tasks from the selected Project on the line.

Are you entering Time against a Customer or a Project? Can you check if the GL accounts that are assigned to the Service Item have the "Include Children" marked?
