Hi Red, Thank you for your feedback. I found that SB bundle wasn't updated to the most current version as PROD. I did the update trying to replicate the issue from production. After the update, I assigned a new user with the same role as one of the approver on the Bank Detail record. This new user doesn't see the…

Approver is set on the Company Bank Details > Approval subtab. However, when the user is trying to approve a batch, the buttons are not there. Payments > Payment Processing > Bill Payment Batches. We tested in Sandbox the button appears, however, not in production. Permissions on the roles have been reviewed and they are…

Thank you, Patrick!

I'm not sure, how to check that?

Hi @Michelle Jabanes-Oracle A couple of our customers have been receiving this error message as well. Persistent Transient Failure: System not accepting network messages It's from a send email approval workflow so it's within internal company. Is this something you are aware that NetSuite is currently having an issue with?…

Hi Judith, I couldn't find the PFA type search from the lists. Apparently it is a very highly restricted environment and they need to give us full access when ready to push to prod. Thank you
-
Yes, thank you for confirming.

Hi Judith, Thank you. Sorry for not being clear. To clarify, I need to add users, internal user from the accounting group. I found this SuiteAnswer ID: 76839 - Electronic Bank Payments > Email notification once the Payment Batch is approved I can set additional internal users to receive notification via email without…

Hi Michelle, Can you please send the link to that Issue you mentioned? I don't see the resolution from the one you provided. Thanks

I have another user who has a custom role with a SAML/SSO permission. She has requested to add an Administrator role. However, when she's trying to send her security codes, she never receive them. Hence, she can't logged in with her Administrator role. We used User Access Reset tool. What should we do in order for her to…

Thank you, Patrick!

Hi Patrick, Yes, they have opened the A/P period for a short time, enough to let those transactions got posted during that time frame. Thank you for your comment. I appreciate it.

Is it possible to add users to receive email payment batch notification without setting them as one of the approvers? thanks
-
Hi Patrick, The Vendor Bills were dated in August 2024. The approver approved them in Sept 2024. I'm not sure if when they approve the bill, if the accounting period for August was still open at that time. Their role doesn't have Override Accounting permission Thanks

Hi Matt, The user tried logging into Sandbox with the Non-SAML/SSO role permission and still unable to get in from the regular Netsuite login URL. Her manager is able to get in the sandbox but using an Administrator role. Does this mean I need to assign the user with an Administrator role as well? Thanks,
-
Thanks Matthew. Next question on below. In a SAML/SSO-enabled environment, how do we give access to Sandbox (Non-SSO)? If you want to give access to users for your Sandbox account for non-SSO please provide roles that do not have this permission enabled Permissions sub tab > Setup sub tab > SAML Single Sign-on I have given…

Hi Matthew, In a SAML/SSO-enabled environment, how do we give access to Sandbox (Non-SSO)? Can the user ignore an email reminder from NetSuite to change the password in Sandbox? Thanks,
-
Thank you for these recommendations. Very much appreciated.
-
When I access my NetSuite production account through SAML SSO, can I switch to Sandbox account with a NON-SAML SSO role?
-
@Nicole Mendoza-Oracle So I have created a Non-SSO role in sandbox for the user but she still cannot access her sandbox. I told her to login through the regular NetSuite login url. They are in a SSO enabled environment for production. Her manager was able to get to sandbox because her manager was given the administrator…

It’s a stand alone Vendor Bill Credit that a client wants to void or cancel. Is to edit and set the amount to null would be appropriate? And jot down a memo explaining the reason behind it. There is an option to delete but I am not a big fan of deleting. Any thoughts and comments would be appreciated. Thanks.

In a SSO enabled environment, does the password in Sandbox need to be the same as in Production?
-
Hi Thank you for this. Is there any SuiteAnswer that we can refer back to from your answer? I think the customer would appreciate that. Thank you
-
Hi, Yes, I did that and this is what I received: "…login: Only the user can change this password, as this user has access to more than one NetSuite account."
-
Hi, I did that and it didn't let me. It gave the error that the user has more than NetSuite account. Her role in SB doesn't have SAML/SSO permission. But her production has.

I had a similar case. I got this notice "You cannot perform the actions you selected for this user. Possible reasons include: you entered an invalid email address, you do not have adequate permission, or you are not an administrator in all the accounts to which this user has access." When you mentioned “You should remove…

Thank you. This is very helpful!

I was able to Closed and need to do it on the line item level. But not to set it to FULLY Billed since this needs to go through the whole billing process.

Hi Ayie, All fields on the General tab of the asset have been populated. I think we just need to hit the Precompute Depreciation Values button. SuiteAnswer ID: 99762 - Fixed Assets Unable to Generate Depreciation History Record what do you think?
