Hi Maria, You got my curious, so I went into my test NSSB. I must apologize for adding to your confusion, as you are correct, there seems to be a problem. According to the online help (linked from NSSB, so apply's to that version): Emailing Transactions There are several ways to email a transaction. You can send copies of…

That is EXACTLY what I am looking for. I just tried it, and so far it seems to work, but still having a problem with the E-mail address it is getting sent to. I selected the proper contact which has an E-mail address, but that contact is not getting it, or at least yet, but Thank you for the information. -Anthony Glad I…

If you would like to attach the pdf to the e-mail and send it to a specific recipient all in one step, try this: go to home, set preferences-under the transactions tab, uncheck the box that says 'e-mail using HTML' Once that setting is changed, on the transaction itslef, don't use 'save and e-mail', instead, using the…

if you uncheck the shortcut you no longer want to see, and click save, it won't allow you to save? Recently, I have noticed that I must clear my temp internet files in order to see programming changes. Since I often work in firefox and IE at the same time, and often inline with someone else on another computer, this comes…

OK Confesshion.... I had a think about this thread over the weekend, and Here is my conclusion. I had some trouble implementing netsuite, and working out quarks involving having the small business account. But here it the reality. I am partly to blame perhaps b/c I am not a Computer Whiz (yet, but working on it) and…

This is an opportunity for NS to offer a read-only version of this great product for companies that need to change platforms. Kind of like Acrobat Reader versus the full Acrobat. They could probably provide this for a fixed fee and one-login for a 12-month period. No new customers, activities, sales orders, accounting…

Hi Tom, Yes, this is a problem for more than just you. According to Netsuite, the proper workflow is to refund directly from the cash sale. This causes an issue, however, when an RMA is processed, as it leaves the credit memo hanging. I have found the ability to refund the credit memo, right onto the card. It is contained…

We are Business to Business software sales company, roughly 50 employees. I believe we use the following ERP, CRM, Marketing, SFA I was hired about 4 months ago with the understanding that my first month would be finishing the NS implementation. Well for some reason I am still doing NS tasks about 50% of my time. Other…

I'm curious, and if I may ask-What area is most of this time spent? Is it using/building they system? (lack of understanding-training, documentation, etc?) Is it the system usability? (the setup of your system and the ongoing daily performance?) Is it the system not delivering what was expected at time of sale? Or is it…

Skyytek - In FLA (I think). The largest NS services firm. Seems competent and great with managing an entire project/ understanding all of the features of NS. Strong generalist with focus on project management and setting expectations - has a large staff and can leverage skill sets of people as needed. Actually, Skyytek is…

Are you not buying it because it doesn't solve every single mobile/phone/camera/ipod problem you ever had, or are you not buying it for some other reason? For me, it solves my "easily portable" Netsuite-anywhere access problem, and as a bonus, it's also a phone, an iPod, a video player, an ok camera, etc. Sounds like you…

yep- make her have her own role (different than anyone else,) and create a form that defaults to pending approval. Don't show the pending approval field, and she wont be able to override it. Apply this form to her role, and voila!

This is done with whomever your merchant account is with. A merchant account is not actually an account, it is a gateway for funnelling money spent on credit cards into wherever you choose. Call your merchant account provider. When you set up the account, you had to provide them with a 'settlement' or bank account where…

Brion, I am curious. If you are in the middle of implementing Netsuite, why isn't your implementor assisting you with detailed explanations of this?
-
did someone say chocolate?? j/k Brion, couple of questions here- are you using units of measure? (UOM) are you selling primarily retail/wholesale, or both, equally? What version of NS do you have? If you are migrating to NS currently, how did you handle this in your old system? I would not ever have the same item listed as…

you neglected to mention a webstore ;) if you are still with me, then you now have two sales order forms, one queues for aproval, one does not. go into setup-setup website-edit- on the tab for shopping, checkout, list the sales order that does not queue for approval (default supervisor approval is checked, not showing). I…

did he/she mean income account or bank account ?. Had to mean a bank account. Income account has nothing to do with actual funds themselves. Although, since I am no longer in accounting, I may not be privy to recent changes, but that one would surprise me.

What are you trying to get here? A list as of everything in the system- transactions, entities, etc? Not sure I am following.
-
Anyone at all, want to throw some thoughts my way, here?
-
Looks like we're at a stage where we can all get along. What was the original question?? ;) Question was in the title, Can someone recomend a third party NS support and customization firm?
-
Really - I am curious to hear about it - can you tell me more? We have just a ton on customization and we were exceedingly happy with them. Are we talking about the same company out of Illinois? This may be something better taken outside of the UG. When one individual or company is targeted in here, it detracts from the…

retracted- wrong thread.

If your management decides that it's best to go forward with keeping the credit as a balance for the customer, what you may want to do is create some custom body fields on your transactions that gives you visibility of the customer balance. This can easily be sourced. At the item fulfillment level, you will need to train…

Thank you for that clarification. Anytime. I am human, (far from perfect), and will always try and admit my errors. ;)

Angela, Be careful how you say that. You suggest my motives are in question as the ONE who offered the "single recommendation". I have no ulterior motive, it is simple...we answered a question about our GOOD experience. I am happy to give more details about it. Feel free to call me! Eric, I agree, do your due diligence and…

Hi Nina, A couple of questions here- Is the issue that orders are going out of the door as COD, when it shouldn't? Do you use 'enforce credit holds' at all? There are a couple of fixes based upon the answers to the above questions.
-
OK- so, when are these orders being set to COD, and by whom?
-
Hi Angela, We're new to NetSuite - haven't gone live yet - but we have uncovered the same problem during our testing. Customer (terms - due on receipt) has a credit. They purchase something to be shipped to them COD via UPS, so we create an invoice. We are too busy to check every customer for credit before we ship. The…

here's a dorky answer! I dont know how!!!! I cannot find time to learn about gift certificates, and the help menus just loose me. I've been putting in 12 hour days, 6-7 days a week. and yep, I'm whining! Would love to see you, except I bet you are here when I'm gone--Nov 24th-28th. ahhh- gotcha- would you like me to walk…
