I would go back to the old sales orders and close those lines.

It looks like this is going to be included in the 2013.2 update that will be coming out around august.

I agree, USPS offers this service, is there a enhancement request for this yet?

Turn off Allow Overage on item fulfillment. This way netsuite wont let them save the fulfillment and ship twice as much as was ordered. Setup > Accounting > Preferences > Accounting Preferences Order Management subtab Allow Overage on item fulfillment to false.
-
If fulfill sales orders is part of your process then you can edit the item fulfillment. I find the easiest way to find it is to go to the sales order, click on the history tab, then click on fulfillments and invoices. You should see your fulfillment there. Click on the date to bring it up, the click edit to get into edit…

has this recently changed? my drop ship PO's are now requiring approval.
-
has anyone contacted netsuite support and received an enchantment #? One thing I found is the "limit by" does not effect netsuite when your taking a phone order. So we made some custom records and script to limit shipping.

If you use. pick, pack, ship. If you pick the items to confirm you have them. Then Bill from the fulfillment it would only bill for the items that are picked. Then after billing you could pack.

No, the auto-calc functionality is not related to the item's preferred location. It looks at sales/purchase order history associated with each location and uses it to calculate the lead time, reorder point, and/or preferred stock level for that location. Location routing based on customer address etc. is a good enhancement…

You know about using INV: as a prefix, it might work if you use prefix it with i:itemnumber

I don't want to give those users access to edit cash sales or sales orders. So at the moment those roles are broken.

I am also having the same problem in 2013.2
-
This problem was started in 2012.2 beta. They where informed of it before 2012.2 was released and they stated it would be fixed before 2012.2 would go live. It is still not fixed. I wonder if it will be fixed in 2013.1?

My co-worker uses "alerts" in his script code when he is testing it. Put an alert after each step.
-
You can turn it off for your personal account for both sales order and estimates via: set preferences, transactions, Inventory Level Warnings uncheck.
-
If its just an html page, a Raspberry Pi or a Chromecast could work.
-
I am still looking for idea for production monitors / report screens like a Smart TV or a small computer connected to a Screen to display status of orders and items. Like they use in hospital waiting rooms.
-
did your sales order have the location set the same as the inventory had?
-
Iv seen something similar but with a manual check box on each line item to split those items to a new order.
-
I use "kits" I make a kit for each of the customer item number and the member is my item. This can make some reports a little funny since there is now multiple part numbers for the same item.
-
set that field on the sales order to source from the customer record. on the body field use the sourcing & filtering tab, Select source list, customer. Source from the territory field. Might want to display it as inline text so its not able to be changed. For new customers, you could add the territory field to the enter…
-
On my sales order I display the screen field column "Available" This way when they enter an item on the sales order they can see how many is available. I also have a separate search that pulls location on hand to show me the available quantity on all items.
-
I don't have a "check item availability screen" is this a custom screen , report or search?

You can have multiple contacts for the same customer, that customer would have a single ID, Also contacts can have multiple relationships and multiple address info. Due to these sub lists you can get multiple lines on a export of your date.
