Please have Netsuite confirm, but I believe this is due to some roles having view of those buttons, and some not. For example, Marketing and Sales roles do not see the "receive" button, but warehouse and acounting do. Would like a confirmation myself.

It means your cases are ignored by someone higher in the org chart. :) Just kidding. Generally, if something has been escalated for us (which has not been easy to do), someone usually gets back to us w/in several days. And funny though that may sound, I mean that as a good thing (in NetSuite-land). I really am not trying…

ROFL- Evan, I did that. However, in 11.0.04, enforcing credit holds does not prevent sales orders from being created, saved, and sent to fulfillment, where they are fulfilled. IT does, however, prevent bills from being created from the fulfilled sales order. This is the problem. It is my understanding that this has been…

I have been searching for a while this morning, and I cannot seem to find the script that I can use to prevent a Sales Order from being saved, if the credit limit on the customer is exceeded. I know I saw it in here before, -can someone point me to it? I am still running 11.0.4- this is scripting for the sales order forms.…

Wow- you surprise me. this is not what I understood at all. The idea that Netsuite will allow a sales order to be saved and fulfilled without taking into consideration the credit limit being enforced gives my accounting brain the eebie jeebies. The further idea that there is not some scripting that can be programmed into…

XP Pro, IE7- and no- logging out makes no difference.

are your updates sticking- or are you losing those?

Steve. Just for the record, how do the following stack up? Total 34927 Server 0.209 (0.00%) Network 34925 (99.99%) Client 1.595 (0.00%) I presume these figures are fairly reasonable? I would certainly hope not, ours average Total 2.641 Server 2.071 Network .132 Client .438

Mine wont save either- trying to use direct list editing- started my own string on it. For someone who is usually very patient, I am ready to pitch my keyboard out the window........... A little help here- NS WTH?

We are actively investigating each of these reports. Please note, most of the slowness is being caused by the Verisign issue, as we must wait for the connection to their servers, slowing our responses. Thanks, Ted We have had zero credit card transactions- these load times are for sales orders, invoices, fullfillments, etc.

you topped me: total 41.61 server:35.56 Network 5.487 Client .56 Happy monday (sigh)

no issues on the west coast- all working well, and speed is great!
-
yep- I ran into this last week, when importing leads. It is a bit confusing. Under the customer name, fill in the prospect company name. Leave the "Company Name" blank. Give that a try.

on west coast- no problems.......
-
whoo hoo- thanks - the light at the end of the tunnel nears.......

Has anyone found a way to remove the "-No Customer/Job-" and "-No Vendor- from the AR & AP Aging Reports? yes- in the filter field, set the name to "not empty" This should do the trick.

Is anyone out there interested in being able to run a report that will tell you what bin location(s) are associated with inventory items no matter whether the item has stock on hand or not? At the moment, you cannot run anything that gives the bin number if quantity on hand is zero. There is an enhancement that has been…

oh yeah, I forgot that. :o crap, I hate it when I do that. Sorry matt..... (been a while since I worked with bins-mine were fixed, remember?)

Steven, I have noticed the same thing about IE. I am using IE7 and have noticed it since the last MS update. Not sure what MS did but they did do something. Angela is a wonderful individual who has also helped me to understand the mechanics of bin management. (Thanks again, Angela) Matt Why thank you, matt-and my favorite…

wow angela.. this is whitepaper material :-) ! "How to implement Bins in Netsuite Correctly from the Start". How about " how NOT to implement bins that will then kick your %^^&"? I was an english major before I switched to finance. :D

Hi Angela, I would be very much interested in how you put things right as in an ideal world we would still like to use an automated bins management system. Many thanks Peter Be careful what you ask for Peter- its an ugly, difficult process. To understand the mess I had, here is a brief summary of what happened. The company…

I'd like to second Angela's insistence that fixing bin management demands more consistent and higher priority attention by NetSuite folks. While Angela is in the middle of it all, we are still on the periphery, having concluded for the moment that bin management is absolutely unworkable in practice for us. Again, the most…

Praying and squinting the eyes as hard as I can for a positive response! One of our warehouses is just about to do an entire bin renaming process, and I haven't had the guts to tell them what they have to do. Pretty please! Matt Oh Matt, I so feel for you. ALthough, if they just rename the bins, it isn't nearly as bad as…

as an FYI- I have found a residual issue with the way I had to clean up the bins. I had to create hundreds of Inventory adjustments. These adjustments seem to cause serious confusion when others are trying to pull reports and look into specific items. I am lucky, as I made all of these adjustments on a weekend, and took…
-
Angela, I have exactly the same problem with Bin Management that you do. For instance, I have items that have 27 quantity available but the bin shows I have 34. There seems no way to correct the bin count although the quantity available count is absolutely correct. I tried to go back to just a standard custom item field to…

In case anyone would like to see an update, I am speaking to tech support. It appears that in the upgrade, the server side scripting in ns is not picking up negative numbers from the bin field. It is defaulting the negative numbers to 0. This is causing the error and the inability to relieve quantities from Bins via an…

OK, I got a response from NS. It was, in summary, this is a new problem, file a new case. In a nutshell, I said NO. I was told that my Bin problem would be fixed with the upgrade. I was patient, I smoothed it over with my execs- who are pushing me to make it work, and now, here I am. To be fair here, the logic behind their…

Bins is high on our wish list, but a non-starter for us until NetSuite implements the ability to transfer inventory among bins. Last I knew, transferring inventory among bins required doing an inventory adjustment, which: - is not a transaction type I want my line warehouse workers to have access to - I can't afford to…

Brian, That is absolutely correct. Nice, huh? Kind of hard to continue to defend NS for me lately. They are wearing me down.....
