The things we have established in NS (often with work-arounds and hard gained arcane knowledge) work OK most of the time. The things we have establish in NS do not include all of the things we have tried and "flunked" in NS. We tried "kits" and flunked them. We tried "vendor pricing schedules" and flunked them. We tried…

OMG!! Thank God I have good people here. After trying 20+ other work-around attempts including scheduling the report to be emailed and printing as PDF and exporting as every format available, the secret was found. Part of the secret = use Safari (if you're a mac user). When the report starts to loading in Safari, click…

Has ANYONE manged to make this bundle work? NetSuite made it, but they now say they are done with it and won't fix it anymore. Using it gives us an error about the record having been changed. I was told "bundle 109 – Update Vendor Price from PO isn’t managed by NetSuite" and "Warranty of the unmanaged bundle is 90 days.…

Who owns this bundle? I have an error happening and NS support says "it is caused by bundle 109 and that isn't our bundle". This old thread makes it clear that bundle 109 was NetSuite's bundle... See… https://usergroup.netsuite.com/users...work-in-2008-1 We need the feature that bundle 109 provides.

Can someone provide a price to fix this NetSuite bundle? ...or would the person who made it care to update it so it works again?
-
Thanks Pierre!! Worked like a charm. -Tom

ah, yes. So, I guess I can now un-install the NetSuite drag-and-drop SuiteApp. I know we can't talk price in this UG, but we purchased a Box account and installed the box bundle mostly because we heard that their storage prices were cheaper. It was a preemptive switch to avoid future expenditures. I can't attest to it…

One annoying thing is the folder naming at BOX. It correctly names folder the customer number when uploading into the drag-n-drop area on a customer record. BUT It names folder the NetSuite internal ID number when uploading into the drag-n-drop area on a sales order. Why not name the folder the SO number? The folder…

Can the new "Drag and Drop feature" in NetSuite (installed via SuiteApp Bundle ID 41309) be set to save to a Box folder?

Well, I meant general ...as in recruiting someone right out of college. Our local university won't have SuiteScript101, but they will have JavaScript101. -Tom

What would be a few bullet points you'd have on the list of knowledge needed if posting a job for a NetSuite Admin? In our town we won't find a NetSuite guru. With a 4-Year college here, we'd find plenty of general techie/coders.... maybe even an intern. What non-NetSuite-specific things would be the most helpful?…

This was such a complex, difficult, crazy system to learn. ...I had to do it all again, no way! I agree and fixing that "overly complex to learn" issue and speed should be the top two priorities (plus keeping their prices competitive with their competitors should be in the top 3). block potential Netsuite users from this…

> Company like Storefront.net and Powerwebsites.com only take > less than an hour phone call from US to set up a website. Include Yahoo store and ProStore and MonsterCommerce. Coming from an easy to use store editor, I was blown away by the clunky (at best) NS store creation interface with no WYSIWYG store editing…

Matrix items are radically improved in v11.5 along with the web store content management. I assume v11.5 = v2007. I looked at the v2007 beta. I see the "matrix item creation assistant", but I have to report that I didn't see a "radically improved" matrix item interface. Editing and adjusting the existing matrix items will…

Matrix items are radically improved in v11.5 along with the web store content management. You made my day with that news. I was looking for improvements in those areas in v11, but "better late then never".

We had good luck with... http://www.baacoffice.com

Has anyone tried Webbee... http://www.webbeeglobal.com/

Check out joLEADo chat. It does more than most Chat software. Built by a person that did NetSuite development for years.

We use gmail. How would we fix DMARC restrictions? The messages didn't have attachments. We already entered a NS support case?

Never mind. Figured it out. It works fine. It was possible with item-based promotions. Using "Order-based promotions" was the wrong approach. One thing would still be nice. Can we make it not require a code and just apply automatically if they meet the order requirements? T

I put this in the thread that you linked to (thanks), but I'd also like to ask this in this thread: I'm running into two problems trying to create free shipping on a group of items with a common specified preferred vendor. I used advanced promotions (for item-based promotions) and set it to apply to a saved search. The…

I went to "Lists > Marketing > Promotions > New" and I don't see an "eligibility tab". So, I guess we don't have "advanced promotions". I also don't see "advanced promotions" in "setup > company > enable features". Is it an add-on?

Good tips. Do your sales people just schmooze or do they also record any measurable feedback from these calls? EG: Ask a question like "on a scale from one to ten, how would you rate your experience".
-
Rob, were you referring to where it says "APPLY DISCOUNT TO:"? Because "first sale" in that pull-down menu doesn't actual mean "first sale" as in people purchasing from you for the first time. NetSuite help for that field says: [LIST] [*]First Sale Only - the discount can be used only once by each customer. [*]All Sales -…

I spent about 20 minutes trying to fix a new roll so a new employee could be included in the case answering process. I looked all over the roll settings and couldn't figure out how to give them the needed access. Then I found the answer in this thread. I have to say that I can't imagine why "Lists > Employees > Employee…

I'm looking for something like this, but it needs to be able to provide customer segmentation. It would categorize customers into their NAICS or SIC codes (eg: categories like healthcare, hospitality, construction etc.) for marketing purposes.

I'm not sure that web images are high resolution enough to make a good looking printed catalog. If they are, then I would also be interested in a conversion service. I've often wondered about the ROI for printed catalogs. They are expensive and quickly obsolete as prices and product availability changes. -Tomen Looking for Information on Creating a Print Catalog Comentario por Tom Dalton Apr 9, 2009 11:53AM

found it at.... Setup > Company > Enable Features > Transactions I missed it the first time. IMHO it should be at... Setup > Website > Set up web site > Shopping All of the other controls for what appears in the webstore check-out are in that area. T

Is there a way to turn OFF promotion codes? I want to temporarily remove the feature from our shopping cart. I'm tired of customers asking for a code when we currently don't have any offers. I looked around and couldn't find the option to remove it. -T
