I didn't implied anything. I just requested the support case to be able to see if I could help you By saying "help you" it does imply the issue is isolated to our account. Right? In my understanding, you'd be helping every single NetSuite user with SRT if you helped us. So, I thank you on behalf of every single NetSuite…

Support Case #: 2764864. Also, are you implying that we're the ONLY company that has this issue? Same servers, Same technology, Same everything, same "server response time" results. Right? This has nothing to do with our content. -Tom

NetSuite server response times are even slower this past week. Google says online that web store server response times should be under 200ms to get a passing score in their system We're over 1300 ms for the average over this past week. This must be effecting all NetSuite stores. Only NetSuite can fix it. So, is it: A: Very…

Can SuitePromotions be made to work with reference checkout v2.05 (kilimanjaro)? Can someone using SCA tell me if SuitePromotions allows them to apply free shipping promotions to KIT items? T

:h_a_w: I just tested. SuitePromotions worked in back office, but not in the web store. We're in SiteBuilder with reference checkout v2.05. -Tom

An online site gives these 5 steps to do to reduce server response time.... 1. Check Your Hosting 2. Choose Your Web Server Carefully 3. Optimize Your Web Servers 4. Reduce Bloat 5. Optimize Your Database These are all things that ONLY NetSuite can fix... right?

I searched out a SuiteCommerce advanced site to test the theory that it was faster. SuiteCommerce... https://www.enviroscent.com/.... 250 Millisecond SRT...overall speed score = 27 out of 100 ...note that was on home page. Item drilldown had 1800 Millisecond SRT SiteBuilder... https://www.signsdirect.com/.... 440…

broken by design. I think I've gotten that response as well.

Thanks fmeilan. The issue was found. We had uploaded new bootstrap CSS. That had covered up the NetSuite style for the submit button.

As far as I see, we can't use a new "free shipping" shipping method as a solution. This is because when you specify an item to use the "free shipping" shipping method; the entire order is ships free. We need it to only ship the one free shipping item free and not the entire order. NetSuite, do you have any input on this 10…

Still, how about a single shipping method with shipping rates by item - specify a shipping cost on each item and create a shipping item with "By Item" selected. We need UPS real time rates for 98% of items. In NetSuite, it is an either/or proposition. In other words, if we change UPS ground to "by item" shipping rates, it…

Thanks. I heard that this was likely due to a data center move that happened last night. The NS support person said we were moved last night, but I then found my NetSuite email that showed we where being moved next week (September 8th). I told him that and he said "nope, you were moved".

There is a fix. Find every URL that it is overwriting and replace it with either NetSuite's full HTTPS URL or your own secure URL (hosted elsewhere). Relative links still work fine for images... just not CSS and maybe also js.
-
We found instances in reference checkout where it was doing it. It was their code with links pointing to their CSS file. So, the default reference cart was not compatible with the recent change.
-
I need "buy item A" and get free shipping on item "A" as long as you're also buying "item B". I need it auto-applied.
-
Anyone using Coupon or Promo codes with kit items?
-
We're in SiteBuilder. So, no options I guess. Too bad advanced promotion has this kit-flaw.
-
It appears that a "secret" NetSuite update ran last night that affected site-builder. My 3rd party NetSuite developer is having the same problems with other site-builder sites that he works on and in his test site. Now, instead of leaving relative links alone, NetSuite is rewriting them to the fully qualified HTTP URL.…

> With the multiple shipping routes feature, each item line can have its own shipping method. In the web store? Or, is that only in the back end? NetSuite instructions for "multiple shipping routes" say: Web store shoppers can only specify one shipping address and shipping method during checkout. So, any ideas for free…

Failing on kit items isn't a defect. It is "by design". Enhancement # - 289344 Summary: Advanced Promotions > Item Specific Free Shipping > support all item types

Is server response time equally as slow for SCA sites? We've been moved to a new NetSuite data center. I don't know if that included our site-builder web store, but we're still too slow. Run this test on your domain. Anything faster than .2 seconds is satisfactory.
-
Will this fix NetSuite server response times for our web-store?... New Data Center Targeted to Open in August 2017 The newest North American data center, NA Central, will host NetSuite production accounts. It is targeted to open in mid-August of 2017.
-
Furthermore, while I can't say specifically by how much, I can say that SCS is going to be noticeably cheaper than SCA, making it an attractive competitor to SiteBuilder, in terms of cost. Yes, in terms of monthly fees... not in terms of implementation cost to switch from SiteBuilder.
-
There is no "secure site license" for Site-Builder sites. Plugging up a missing NetSuite feature is more like it. HTTPs is only offered for SCA and not by my choice. Our workaround for this missing feature has been working for months and this morning it is broken due to a NS change. More likely the change isn't needed, but…

So, you're at 0.25 to 1.0 seconds or 250 to 1000ms. After you run this test , you'll see Google's recommendations. You'll see in there where Google says that they recommend you get them at or below 200ms. If you then test a dozen of your competitors with the same tool, you'll likely find that Google doesn't recommend…
-
I asked NetSuite "support" about this. They say "3000ms is fine, optimize your images instead of worrying about server response time". Wrong answer. So, I ran this test on 4 sites. Two netSuite hosted sites and two non-NetSuite sites. signsdirect.com <— NetSuite Site : Google says "need to reduce server response time"…

"less expensive than SCA". Well, the implementation was the biggest blocker for SCA. If implementation is the same cost in SCSE (suite commerce standard edition), then "no way". We overcame the obstacles of SiteBuilder, so we'll stay put. We've got a responsive site. In a week or two it will be secure throughout our site…

Today I checked performance (using google's tool) and got 3.5 seconds for our server response time! That is 17.5 times longer than the maximum that google says is acceptable. Also, from what I was told... we've been moved to the new server. I was really hoping that move would fix the server response issue and not make it…
