Too bad there isn't a tab right in the "email templates" creation interface that is titled "Automation Rules" and then we can set up logic to generate automated email rules for that template.
-
Thanks Baruch, I completed the "yes/no" opt-in question for web store check-out. I created the email template for the "survey request email". Now, where can I find simple instructions for creating a scheduled "drip marketing" email?? It would be cool if it were as easy as setting up "email rules" in Microsoft outlook. Tom…

Froogle = Google NexTag Bizrate/Shopzilla = Scripps media pricegrabber Yahoo Shopping = Yahoo Dealtime/Epinions/Shopping.com = Ebay All are comparison shopping sites with product/merchant ratings and have merchandise search engines. We upload feeds to four of them. More important (for us) was to decide which one would…

With SuiteScript you can create a drip marketing campaign that automatically sends emails to customers who meet your criteria (e.g. web orders, where shopper opted to get survey email Can you give me a copy of drip-marketing script? I don't know how to make "SuiteScripts", but if I can see a sample drip-marketing script…

Thanks for your answer. I know how to manipulate the code in a "item level" item template, but doing templates at the "category level" is a bit beyond me. I messed with it for about two hours and finally quit. I want NS to add the "more info button" feature into the non-template saved layouts. In the mean time I will have…

We haven't been getting any reviews with our pop-up "shopping.com" review. We used to get a LOT when we were at Yahoo store. Their system asked the customer if they would like to have a chance to review the merchant after their order is completed and delivered. It then sends them an email with a "survey invitation link"…
-
PS: If this was added as an enhancement, It would be cool if it was made smart enough to detect when a item's "detailed description" is the same as the item's "Store Description" and not show the "more info link" when it knows that there is no more information in the detailed description.
-
Vote for enhancement 113257 if you have ever had customers emailing you for product information that they would have found if they only would have clicked on the thumbnail or "title" of the item to drill all of the way down into the item to find it's detailed description. What good is a detailed description if our…

Vote for Enhancement 113257 Provide a way to show "More Info" link on the Items' (at store description level).

I have a flash animation at a category page. I may have done something wrong with it because for some reason it shows up super small on a Mac, but normal on a PC. See... http://www.signsdirect.com/Home/PolySign T

Thanks for posting that template. The template looked great on your site. I tried to use it, but I got these errors... [Error processing dynamic tag getCurrentA ttribute('item','itemid') : Unknown method getCurrentA ttribute()] [missing resource SITE_PAGEMESSAGE_THEME_ONLY_] [Error processing dynamic tag…

Go to support -> customer service -> NetSuite Support Center Click on the "fixes & Features Tab" Click on "Version 11.0.4", then choose one of the three PDF files to view Tom PS: Can someone at NS post how much the "eBay add on" will cost?
-
I haven't read the "Sneak Peak" document, but.... eBay already charges a commission on every sale. If NS is also charging a fee to use this feature (in addition to what we already pay NS), it may not be cost effective for us to use it (considering how low our margins are). We already pay 4x what we were on our previous…
-
I also don't know how much it costs or how to turn it on. I didn't know it was available until Carl said that they had added it to their account. Maybe a few more "FYI emails" from NetSuite would be a good idea. Tom

Baruch, Any chance that NS will ever move the IN-SITE-PRODUCT-SEARCH "report" over to the basic NS offerings? That "in-site product search report" was INCLUDED for free with our MUCH CHEAPER and rock solid Yahoo store. That is the only feature that I want from the analytics module. -T
-
Baruch, I was still waiting for the answer to the previous post by Brian... So what in fact defines the free keyword tracking stuff that was reported on and promoted so highly? "Pricing and Availability NetSuite Keyword Marketing Module is available now in NetSuite and NetSuite CRM+ at no additional cost." Free to turn it…

With Version 11.0.4, you can now integrate your NetSuite account with your eBay seller account using the new eBay module. Note: eBay Integration will be available for this version by the end of October. Please contact your account manager or customer support for more information on purchasing the eBay module. How much does…

Stuart, You would "deactivate" the child item by clicking on the "inactive" check-box while viewing any child item that you don't want to display anymore. -Tom PS: vote for Enhancement 100459. If you deactivate very many children, you will find that you make items with only one option available. You will then be left with…

The report of what our customers search for (using the IN-SITE-PRODUCT-SEARCH) was the ONLY thing that I was interested in. I pushed hard for that feature or "report" and now NS added it, but to an "add on module". That "in-site product search report" was INCLUDED at no extra cost with our MUCH CHEAPER and rock solid Yahoo…

Enhancement 111727 We would like to have multiple shipping methods available online based on the order. For example there are some orders that because of the shipping weight cannot go via UPS so we want to show the alternative of another shipping method. I would also like this feature for the OPPOSITE reason. I would like…

We also occasionally get calls saying this but can't reproduce. ... occasionally = 1 or 2 times per week T
-
I disagree and so did the NS employee that I just talked to. Current behavior (that you say is as designed)... 1. A New customer places a order through the web store. Customer= out of state Result= no IN STATE sales tax is charged 2. New Customer calls in Order. New order is placed through NS application. Customer= out of…

Origami, "customer default to taxable" should be checked. Marcus's fix worked for us. Go to "setup -> accounting -> set up accounting -> tax" and change the "default tax code" and make it blank. Now it charges tax on "in state orders" and doesn't charge tax on out of state orders regardless of how the order came to us. We…

We still need sales tax a FIX from NS!!!! New out-of-state customers ordering through our "web store" have NULL as the preferred "tax item" and their accounts behave like we need them to (only charging sales tax to orders shipping to Illinois addresses). Unfortunately NS does NOT assign NULL as the preferred "tax item"…
-
Marcus, Thank you so much for the fix! It has appeared to solve this problem. I called NS about 11am today and they couldn't solve the problem and still haven't emailed a remedy. One again, this group is our best source of valuable information when solving these NS problems. T

Our issue number = 111455

We have the same problem. Yesterday Tax was working fine. Today all customers are charged tax. We should only have tax on orders shipping to Illinois. I'm sure this has already discourage some of our online customers from ordering.
-
Patrice, That "workaround" only worked for about a week...but it doesn't work anymore. With no "default tax code", it recently stopped charging tax for In-State orders..so we had to set the "default tax code" back to "illinois sales tax". Test it in you account and see for yourself. Who thought that collecting sales tax…
-
I already voted for it. ....in June of 2006. I suppose that means that there is NO work-around. Tom
-
Patrice, We do not charge 'out of district' sales tax. We want all in-state sales to be charged OUR county's tax rate. I added a zip code to the Illinois sales tax item (as per your suggestion). Nothing changed!! It still charges tax correctly on the web-store orders (and doesn't charge tax to the "out of state…
