In our case the page doesn't appear to reload. The lower tabs (like the address tab) don't work at all and some of the buttons (like "save") doesn't work. Other buttons "like the home tab" do work. It was happening mostly just on the "cash sale", but on my home mac I saw it happen in the SO. All other record types in NS…

> Have you confirmed that this does work for your account on a windows PC? Yes > Do you have a customised transaction form for these cash sale > transactions? Have you tried setting the 'custom form' field to > a different layout and reloading the page? Yes, I tested it with the standard CASH SALE FORM and it still had the…

We still have this problem today. Again it tested positive on 4 different browsers. I can't believe that no other Mac users are experiencing this issue. -Tom

Is anyone else running on a Intel Mac and using mac OS 10.4.7 and Safari version 2.0.4? I called NS to report the problem and the guy said that their Mac test machine's OS was not up-to-date. I am curious if anyone else (running a similar Mac system) is having the same NS problems described in my first post. T

I just tested using mac OS 10.4.3 and Safari and I could place an order online. -Tom

I did the "fix" in that other thread. It (their fix) was already checked (allow customers to create a SO) and so it didn't help us. I had a NEW check-out/cart error today and have been on hold with NS for over 40 minutes to submit a case. I'll probably hang up soon and enter it online. I tried to put in a order (through…

I have also fond some images showing up with a "?" on the web page (image not found symbol). When I look at the image in NS, it is set to "image is NOT available without login". NS doesn't let us do a document search for the "available without login" criteria or I could easily find the images that were effected. It looks…

This area is very confusing (when viewed in the item creation screen). We also have items that are stocked and sold in single units and we set NS to order them in 100 piece units. They have a reorder point of 25 single units and preferred stock level is 75 single units..... then when we get down to 25 units, it recommends…
-
But you also told it to only restock to 75 single units. If your reorder point is 25 and you order in 100s, surely the preferred stock level is 125? I think the system is just getting confused here between competing instructions. Mark Yes, but it should see that you order in units of 100 and be SMART ENOUGH to say…

In our case, I see ANOTHER problem associated with this. I reduced the inventory on a VALID item that we keep in inventory. I reduced it far below the preferred stock level and it still does NOT show up as a item to order. The reminders stays at "12 items to order" with no results found when I clicked on the reminder. So,…

Baruch, you seem to be the "go to guy". Do you have any input on this problem? Customer Care Case # 442358 -Tom

thomasr79, Add your name to the issue so they hurry and fix this. We have had this problem for about three weeks and we have real inventory control problems as a result. T
-
Evan, Any ETA on a fix? This broken feature is really causing us problems. I'm hoping you are running some updates this weekend. -Tom

> If, however, the available plus on order is greater than the > preferred stock level, it will not show up on the "Order Items" > page. If you make sure to set your preferred stock level above > your reorder point for all items, you will not have this problem. > We are working on a fix for this since the reminder and the…

We also have this problem!! I found that the problem exists if you create a SO off of the "new SO link" at the top of any customer record, but we don't get the problem if we go "transactions -> sales -> enter sales order" and enter the items and then add the customer right before calculating shipping. NS can be so flakey…

Are you using IE on a PC? T

Thanks Evan. Our ISP is at http://www.insightbb.com I think it will be easier for you to fix the problem that keeps NS out of their primary DNS servers that it will be for me to get them to fix or change anything. T
-
So you host your own DNS. Maybe you should put the NetSuite domain on a "professional DNS" (like the DNS servers at GoDaddy or Networksolutions.com). I'm not saying that you can't do it, but that is the core business of those companies. The problem at insight broad band still exists and hundereds of thousands of people in…
-
Yea, I also talked with them about this and it sounds like they will add NetSuite's IP to their domain database. I am still curious why my other web sites (Parked on Godaddy's DNS servers) could be found on Insight's new DNS servers and NetSuite was one of the few that weren't in their new DNS servers. Could it be…

Our dashboard reminders are still telling us to order way more items then we need to order. It is telling me to order 28 items and when i look at the list only one item really needs to be ordered. Any ETA on a fix? -T

Case # 437192 , but it isn't written correctly. It doesn't say that the problem exists for BOTH "X Sales Orders to Ship" and for "X Sales Orders to Pack". The work-around also won't work for us. In our case, a 3rd party fulfillment company is set up with a role that is "location specific". We usually open the SO and mark a…

They are the only cable broad band supplier in our area. The only alternative is Verizon DSL and they have their own set of problems. I wasn't worried about ME connecting to NS through this crappy but VERY large ISP because I figured out how I can get around their current DNS problem. I was worried about the OTHERs. I was…

I think this problem has something to do with the NEW "Reorder Point Auto-Calculate" and "Preferred Stock Level Auto-Calculate" features. The feature seems to be recommending purchases for a random number of our products that are inventory items and are marked "drop ship". hhhhhmmmm ....why would it want me to order items…
-
The problem WAS with Verizon. They wouldn't say how they fixed it, but it started working while I was on tech support with them. She said that she suspected it was with the "secure server" that was the culprit. T
-
Evan, Do you have a updated release date for this business crippling bug? T
-
Thanks for keeping us informed Evan! Nobody else posted in this thread. I am still curious how we could have a problem as major as this and nobody else seems to have it. Are we being too tough on our NetSuite ...and breaking it -or- is it just luck of the draw? t

OK, I called NS and half way fixed the problem ...but now we have a new problem. It showed 27 items to order. We found that most of them showed a need to order just 1 unit. A real inventory item would never be for ONE unit (when replenishing inventory). They would be for hundreds of units if they were "real" inventory…
