Same error, I was also getting from the 8 Aug 2024 evening onward. I tried to repair the MS Office and also tried with different versions of BI Published and JDK but nothing worked. Excel is working fine, but it only has an issue with MS Word. Can't able to progress my work and its urgent.

It's not only Office 365. I'm still on the Office 2016, Version 2407 (Build 17830.20138).

Downgrade your MS Office version using the below steps.

Use the below configuration.

<Updates Enabled="TRUE" TargetVersion="16.0.17328.20142" />
</Configuration>

Once all steps are done, Enable the BI Publisher on MS Word.
