Assigned Goals % Completion

Morning all,

I've searched the forum but couldn't see an answer:

If a manager assigns a goal to 5 employees, do they all still count as separate goals to the individuals?

For example, if one of the reports completes his Goal and sets it to 100% complete, does this effect the same goal set on the other employee's records? Or can they all be set at different % completion?
