How to create new pages leveraging the Service Request Edit Field Fragments

In this article, I will address the 24A Fusion Service Center Extensibility Feature, focusing on how to create new pages using the Service Request Edit Field Fragments.

Problem Statement:

System implementors often face the challenge of having to create new pages when redesigning the Service Request Edit page. This process involves multiple steps and can be time-consuming. Additionally, these newly created pages may lack some of the standard logic, integration, and layout that is already provided out-of-the-box, leading to a suboptimal user experience.

Solution introduced in 24A

This feature allows you to easily create new pages whenever you need them and make use of the same component that is used in the prebuilt service center service request edit page. The system implementers can create new pages by using the Service Request Edit Fields fragment. This fragment includes everything you need for editing service requests - the dynamic form, layout, and standard save logic and UI Events Framework Integration - just like the standard SR Edit Fields page in the Service Center application.
