Totally agree.
Search does not work as it used to.
Patch downloads are a nightmare.
How come Oracle came with a portal like this ?
Is there no one in Oracle to test such tools or is it just someone decided with no clue ?

The new portal is the worst portal I've ever seen in my 30 years in this business. The old portal version was very easy to use and I never had a problem finding the new CPU and OJVM patches. I can not believe Oracle rolled out such a terrible portal. It's almost as if they don't care about customer service. also, Thank you all for the info you provided here on how to access the portal. Good to everyone trying to navigate this labyrinth.

Should be all set. Each code stream has a section for the Management files.

I apologize for the late reply on your update. You would need to check with your functional team at your end, and determine if the values entered in the Accounting ChartField combination for the transaction at hand are valid, or incorrect. If the sequence of values is deemed to be correct, then the users should ensure that the ChartField Combination Editing set up reflects that accounting values string as a valid combination. This would need to be done at the below set up level: (In this case for Group COSTCTR)
- Set Up Financials/Supply Chain > Common Definitions > Design ChartFields > Combination Editing > Combination Definition
- Set Up Financials/Supply Chain > Common Definitions > Design ChartFields > Combination Editing > Combination Rule
- Set Up Financials/Supply Chain > Common Definitions > Design ChartFields > Combination Editing > Combination Group
- Set Up Financials/Supply Chain > Common Definitions > Design ChartFields > Combination Editing > Review Combination Data (The used accounting values string combination should be displayed at this level as valid one)
If the accounting used on the transaction line for prepaid customer contracts, then the functional team should ensure to update the necessary values so that the combination is correct.

I am suspecting exactly the issue, that you have described: we also noticed significant RTP distortion (MOS < 2) in transcodings AMR/PCMA and vice versa. Oracle support did not proposed any solution and we solved the problem by ourself by moving the transcoding point from VSBC to MGW which stands in-front of VSBC. In other scenarios we forced AMR-WB usage instead of AMR - this also helps in such situation. I think that X-cores have troubles in processing of highly compressed media. That's why Oracle reserves more resources on X-core for EVS codecs processing.

i have put comments in MOS feedback. it doesn't matter where we leave our feedback, it isn't changing and Oracle doesn't care.

I'd be curious to know the distribution of the votes received through the "give feedback" feature so far…
I mean, does Oracle really need to receive actual feedbacks about this? can't it see by itself that this new MOS is a total failure? becase if you can't see how badly designed this thing is without having others pointing it out, well that's a big problem.

MOS is horrible
As a long time user of the traditional MOS, this new portal is horrible. I spend countless hours looking for information that used to be at my finger tips. Last week I spent 2 hours looking for Update center.
You have removed any user friendly feature, bookmarks, access to see ticket information more clearly, ability to save a knowledge document or print it, ESUs. Everything that was "FRIENDLY & FAMILIAR" about MOS is gone.
ALL OF IT IS GONE .. I find google a lot easier to digest then this MOS mess.

There isn’t a supported “security-only” update stream that lets you apply just security fixes while staying on the same SRU level. Most security fixes arrive as part of an SRU (and sometimes require other dependency updates), so applying security fixes typically advances you to a newer SRU.
