Hours & Earnings Report problem & solution
Any time I have to reverse a payroll check I've found that the Hours & Earnings Report is incorrect for any employee whose paycheck was reversed. It completely ignores the check reversal and includes in both paychecks in the totals.
When I went to customize the report I noticed that there was a filter set to include ONLY transactions greater than zero. I changed the filter to include tranasctions "not equal to zero" and now it picks up the reversal and the report is correct.
Just wanted to share my solution in case anyone else depends on this report being correct.
