Setting up a subtab under the employee record
I need to record the amount an employee is paid over time. I'm looking to create a subtab under the employee record that holds an ongoing history of pay or remuneration for an employee.
EG it might look like
1/1/05 $50,000 $Canadian (ie it says what currency they are paid in)
20/6/05 $55000 $Canadian
etc
Part 2 is that I need to run a search which picks up the above information and the current exchange rate based on the currency in the record and then makes some calculations based on this.
So my questions are
1. how do I create a sub-tab in the employee record that holds many remuneration entries ie in database terms a 1 to many relationship type table/subtab
