Thank you to everyone for your passion, collaboration, and support. Here’s to building an even stronger community together in the year ahead!
Season’s greetings to you and yours! As we head into the holidays (December 24 – January 4), we want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible strength and collaboration within our community. Even during the break, you can continue to benefit from connecting with peers, searching related threads, posting your questions, and marking helpful replies as “Accepted” in the Support Community.
Please note our dedicated team will be on reduced coverage during this time, and regular responsiveness will resume on January 5. Wishing you a joyful and restful holiday season!

Payroll Liability not matching Payroll Detail
We tried generating a quarterly 941 form for 2010Q4 today, and noted that the amounts that NS loaded in for the deposits/liability for the quarter were way off. When we explored it, we found that the Payroll Liability Report was showing $0.00 line items for Federal Withholding, Social Security, and Medicare Withholding on individual paychecks, but when you look at the actual paycheck, it shows a non-zero amount withheld. The issue is erratic - it happens for some paycheck line items and not others.
This certainly gives me pause before we go into creating W-2s and other year-end reports that depend on that stuff being accurate. I've submitted a report to NS but thought I'd post here too to see if anyone else has noted this.
