Line number of deleted edit sublist line
Hi,
I am trying to determine the line number and contents of an edit sublist line which the user is requesting to delete, because I wish to obtain certain field values from that line before allowing its deletion.
I thought using the validateDelete event would do the trick but it only passes the record type to the script function (unlike, say, the validate line event which gives the linenum). My thinking was to grab the values required and then return 'true' to allow the delete to continue.
Should I be using one of the other functions to achieve this? I'd like to avoid having to compare the entire sublist before and after, so I'm hoping there's some method for doing this.
