0% Commission Rate with Quota Tier Advancement Only
Hi,
Can anyone shed some light on the following use case.
We have a Primary Rep assigned to an Opportunity (Invoice) and in certain situations we'll also have a Secondary Rep assigned. The Primary Rep should receive full commission payout based on their Commission Schedule and Quota Credit to be placed within the proper tier (%). The Secondary Rep should receive a 0% Commission Rate ($0 Eligible Total), but receive Quota Credit to ensure he/she is paid out the correct commission rate next time they're eligible. This way the transaction amount pushes the secondary rep through the commission tiers.
Our initial thought was to create a checkbox on the Invoice > Sales Team > Employee child record. Whenever this checkbox is set to TRUE, a workflow fires preventing the Rep from receiving the commission payout.
