Rebranding of Products - Inventory Tracking

Hello,

We are a B2B and B2C manufacturing company. We have many products that currently have what we call "retail packaging". These items are purchased by our dealers and stocked on their shelves, sent to our third party warehouses and shipped upon request as well has we have inventory in our own warehouses.

We are going to start the rebranding process Q1 of 2017 which will include a change to the way our items are packaged including the look of the label. Changing our sku numbers is not an option and we want to be able to track our newly branded product inventory separately from our current branded product inventory. Nothing else is changing except the box, bag and label that contains the item. The item itself is staying the same. I contacted NetSuite support and currently there is no way to track new versions of an item.
