New version of ODBC Driver

edited Nov 28, 2007 10:17PM in Announcements 1 comment

NetSuite has released a new and improved version of our ODBC driver, available immediately.

We are excited about the enhancements in this upgrade, including:
[LIST]
[*]Better SQL-92 syntax support, such as support for CASE and inner select statements.
[*]Open SSL is now ‘native’ to the driver. No separate security software installation is required.
[*]Improved compatibility with standard ODBC-compliant applications such as Microsoft Excel and Crystal Reports.
[*]Company and role may now be selected during ODBC login (only available in certain ODBC-compliant applications.)
[*]You may now create multiple database source files (DSNs), one for each company/role.
[*]NetSuite will be better able to monitor status and performance of our ODBC servers.

Howdy, Stranger!
