Converting subsidiary into Location
Hi Experts,
Our subsidiary structure will be changing soon.
Current structure is we have say location 1 under subsidiary A.
This will be changed to location 1 being under another subsidiary (say, subsidiary B), and then subsidiary A being dissolved.
Anyone who has done this sort of change before? I checked the location record and it appears that subsidiary cannot be changed anymore once a transaction has been posted to it. Should we then recreate the location to subsidiary B?
If this is the case, it seems that we should then migrate the inventory balance from old location to the recreated location.
