NSC | Display the Created By on Journal Entry
It is a standard behavior that the Name of the Customer that created the record is not automatically populated.
In order for us to display the field on the record, we need to create a Custom Field and a Workflow to populate the value.
1. Create a Custom Transaction Body Field
1. Navigate to Customization > Lists, Records, & Fields > Transaction Body Fields > New
2. Label: Enter Label
Example: Created By
3. Type: Select List/Record
4. List/Record: Select Employee
5. Store Value: Enter Checkmark
6. Click Applies To
§ Journal: Enter Checkmark
7. Click Save
2. Create a Workflow
1. Navigate to Customization > Workflow > Workflows > New
2. Name: Enter Set Created By
