NSC | FAM > Common Errors when Disposing Fixed Assets and How to Avoid / Solve Them
USER_ERROR: Please enter value(s) for: Department, Class
- This error is normally due to lacking of mandatory fields in either Asset Record or Journal Entry form
- You may check this by opening the asset records indicated in the error log
DISPOSAL_DATE_ERROR: The disposal date format of 01/01/2022 is invalid. To check the date format, contact your account administrator.
- If the user is trying to dispose assets in bulk, this error is normally encountered when the date format in the CSV file is different from the date format set on the user preference.
- You can either modify the date format on the CSV file following the date format on their preferences or, modify the date format on their preferences that will match the date format on their CSV file.
