New to NetSuite | Key Points for Running Intercompany Elimination
When an application is enabled for Intercompany accounts and contains Intercompany account data, eliminations take place as part of the consolidation process.
The intercompany elimination is done at the first common parent entity. During the intercompany elimination process, for any Intercompany account, the system moves the amount from the Intercompany account to the Plug Target account.
Here are the Key Points when Running Intercompany Eliminations
1. You can run intercompany elimination only from the Period Close Checklist.
2. You can run intercompany elimination for all accounting books, the primary accounting book, and any secondary accounting book.
3. You can run intercompany elimination multiple times for a period.
