NSC | Unable to Delete Files or Images in the File Cabinet Due to the Related Records.

edited Aug 26, 2022 11:24PM in Account Administration

Scenario

The user wants to remove a file or an image from the File Cabinet. The user, however, is unable to remove it because they are unable to locate the record with which the file or image is related.

The ability to see the trail of files related to the record attachment is filed under Enhancement # 467362.

Solution

As an alternate solution, you can inactivate the files you no longer use.

1. Navigate to Documents> Files> File Cabinet

2. Open any Folder > File > Edit

3. Check Inactive checkbox

4. Click Save

See similar Enhancements below:

  • Enhancement #211910 File Cabinet > Audit Trail > the ability to Audit trail which users (including customers) viewed and accessed files in the File Cabinet
