Why are email alerts not triggered when items have been created via SOAP Web Services?
We have several saved searches configured to send email upon record creation or update by checking SEND EMAIL ALERTS WHEN RECORDS ARE CREATED/UPDATED under the Email subtab of the saved search. These work as expected.
Recently, we created a new saved search alert for items created via SOAP Web Services.
Since the saved search was saved, items have been created via SOAP Web Services matching the criteria and those items appear in the search results. However, the alerts are not being sent. Is there a chance that records created via SOAP Web Services somehow bypass creation triggers used to generate the alert?
