NetSuite Admin Tip | Automate the Process of Sending a Welcome Email to New Customers

The New Customer Welcome Email workflow is designed to automate the process of sending a warm and personalized welcome email to new customers in your retail business. By implementing this workflow, you can enhance the customer experience, save time, and ensure consistent communication with your new customers.

  1. Navigate to Customization > Workflow > Workflows > New
  2. Workflow Name: New Customer Welcome Email
  3. Record Type: Select Customer
  4. Sub Types: Select Customer
  5. Event Definition: Select On Create
  6. Click Save
  7. Click State 1
  8. Click New Action
  9. Click Send Email
  10. Under Content, select the appropriate email template that contains the welcome message for new customers.
  11. Under Recipient, select From Field
