New to NetSuite | SuiteBilling 101: Overview
SuiteBilling provides users with the capability to create subscriptions, subscription plans, price plans, and price books. These subscriptions can be tailored for services or non-inventory items, with an exception for physical inventory items. SuiteBilling module is mostly utilized among customers operating in the service, software, and licensing industries.
It's important to note that SuiteBilling is not a SuiteApp; rather, it is a paid module available for provisioning onto customer accounts.
A demonstration of a Subscription is Telecommunication Promos, where the Telecom Promo Name, such as ASB999, serves as the Subscription Plan within NetSuite. The Subscription Plan functions as a flexible template or potential bundled offering that companies provide to their customers.
