NSC | Resolving the "Fail to evaluate script: All SuiteScript API Modules" Error

edited Aug 30, 2024 4:35PM in SuiteCloud / Customization

The error "Fail to evaluate script: All SuiteScript API Modules are unavailable while executing your define callback." typically arises when attempting to execute a script that relies on SuiteScript API modules but encounters a problem during the evaluation process.

Fortunately, resolving this error involves a simple step-by-step process.

Upload Your Working Skeleton Script: To start, upload your functioning skeleton script to create the initial script record and deployment. This step ensures that the script record is properly established within your SuiteScript environment.

Update the Script File: Avoid using the conventional method of copy/pasting code directly into the script "edit" display. Instead, update the script file using the File Cabinet UI or an external utility. By bypassing the copy/paste method, you reduce the likelihood of encountering issues related to script evaluation.
