NSC | Minimum Order Quantity field in the Item Record Location sublist is greyed out
Scenario
User wants to know why the Minimum Order Quantity field is greyed out on their Item Record > Location sublist.
Solution
The Minimum Order Quantity field is greyed out because the Supply Lot Sizing Method is set to Lot for Lot. If you select Minimum Order Quantity for your Lot Sizing Method, you will then be able to set a value on the Minimum Order Quantity field.

Supply Lot Sizing Method
- Minimum Order Quantity – A lot size that always requires a minimum quantity to be ordered. After the minimum quantity is satisfied, the total required quantity will be the order quantity.
