NSC | Saved Search for Items with no movement

edited Oct 11, 2024 8:09PM in Saved Searches 4 comments

Scenario

User needs to create a saved search that shows any item where the only related transaction was an Inventory Adjustment into the system, or in other words, inventory that they haven't used since their go live.

Solution

This can be achieved by creating an Item Saved Search with the following details:

  • Criteria > Standard tab (I only added Type = Inventory Item, but you can add other criteria as needed)
  • Criteria > Summary tab

Formula used: CASE WHEN {transaction.type} != 'Inventory Adjustment' THEN 1 ELSE 0 END

Note: Optionally, you can also add this formula to filter out those with no activity: CASE WHEN {transaction.type} IS NULL THEN 1 ELSE 0 END
