Hello Gurus,

I'm looking for Last Modified By on the Journal Entry record. I need this to be pulled from the employee record because I have another customization reading this field and pulling in the Last Modified By supervisor. I know that I can build a saved search to track the max of set by on the record and fill it in that way with a workflow, but that seems like a lot of extra in my environment for something that is readily available on many other transactions.

In case background is helpful, I am using Squareworks approval automation to approve the JEs. I want the person who submits the record to determine the supervisor who needs to approve. Often someone edits the approved JE and we would need it to be resubmitted and approved by whomever that person's supervisor is.
